Ashely Farber began her massage therapy journey in the fall of 2014. Her previous job was wearing her down and she needed a pick-me-up. Ashely’s parents sent her out for a spa day, and it was then that she was first introduced to massage therapy as a form of pain management/self-care.
Fast-forward a year and several late nights later— Ashely was a graduate from Texas Center for Massage Therapy in Arlington, TX with 815.5 hours. Shortly after passing the Nation Certification Exam, and under the tutelage of many teachers, she applied at several chiropractic offices and came across River Oaks.
While in school, working with chiropractors was always Ashely’s goal. She developed a passion for bodywork and wanted to make an impact in people’s lives, helping them achieve their goals—whether that was just being able to get out of bed with minimal pain, getting back on the golf course, or simply looking and feeling their best. Ashely’s primary focus in bodywork consists of manual lymphatic drainage, structural bodywork, trigger-point therapy, and cranial sacral therapy.
